Express version of VS for hobbyist coder and students

From Nick's Blog, I know Microsoft is going to announce the first official beta of Visual Studio 2005 which targetting hobbyist coder and students.

Though I'm not familiar with VS.net, it is true for us that we are already in .Net era and we cannot ignore it.


Comments:
As a user of Visual Studio 2003 and Borland Developers Studio (C# Builder and D8) I would have to say that VS 2005 would have to be a huge improvment to be more usable then Borland's. In the IDE productivity department Borland has Microsoft beat. Too bad the price is not competitive.
