2004 Borland Conference

12.7.04

Have you registered for the 2004 Borland Conference yet? Anyone joined it last year or before?

In the schedule list, there are many cool sessions in this year. For Delphi, I have interests in the following session:
2004 Overview of Delphi for the Microsoft .NET Framework by John Kaster
2012 ECO Boot Camp by Malcolm Groves
3010 Test-driven Programming by Charlie Calvert
3132 Multi-tier/Distributed Database Applications in .NET by Bob Swart
3140 Developing Single Source Delphi: Win32, .NET, and Linux by Chad Hower

As I will visit my friend in San Jose, it is a good chance to join BorCon in my trip. But I cannot do the registration now as I have not got my visa. It is not easy for a non-Amercian lady getting the visa, especially after 911. Another obstacle for me to join it is the communication. I worry I understand nothing in the BorCon finally no matter how cool it is.

Comments:
By the way, I find there is a blog for this event. The blog owner says he will participate in it. Well, hope his blog will cover most sessions.
I know I am greedy :)
