Chinese Lunar new year

8.2.05

Feb 9 is the first day of our Chinese Lunar new year, Year of the Rooster.
It is the most important and happiest festival in the year because all of us are going to congratulate each other on having passed through another year, a time to finish out the old, and to welcome in the new year. Besides, the single people will also get "Lai See" from the elder relatives (just like christmas gifts). "Lai See" is a good luck money wrapped in the litter red envelope. HoHooo... I will get many many "Lai See" :P
Last week I made some Yau Gock, a little bit similar to lucky cookie but is more delicous :)
